Transporting fresh fruit today requires much more than standard product protection. One of the most interesting examples of this approach is our paper trays designed for larger fruits such as melons.

A traditional paper tray is usually associated with separating products and reducing contact between fruits. However, a properly designed structure can perform a much more advanced function. When the tray is turned upside down and the fruit is gently placed into the paper nest, a natural protective zone is created. The melon sits securely within the structure while the paper nests absorb part of the pressure and cushion product movement during transport.

This solution changes the way bulk packaging is perceived. The packaging no longer acts only as a separator, but becomes an active part of product protection. As a result, premium fruits are better protected against movement, bruising and mechanical damage that often occur during long distance transport and export logistics.

In the case of melons and other heavier fruits, proper weight distribution is extremely important. Our paper fruit trays help distribute pressure evenly and reduce the risk of point damage.
